OUTDOOR SEASON
The outdoor program
takes place during the spring and summer months and are for both beginners and the more advanced track and field competitors. Our goal is to introduce the fundamentals of running, throwing, jumping and race walking to beginners and develop and refine the more experienced athletes overall skills in track and filed events. Everyone participates because there are no benches as each athlete will have an opportunity to train and compete in all aspects of track and field.

Life is a journey and there will be barriers and hurdles to test our faith, strength and character. The key to dealing with barriers is to undergo and embrace the process. We are reminded of the message that Inky Johnson shares: "The process is more valuable than the product." As coaches of youth track and field, the process is substantially more valuable and important than the result. The process does not only test you, it also teaches valuable lessons and when you commit to the process - never giving up and overcoming setback and obstacles - a metamorphosis happens. You transform in the process. The person you become in the process - the skills learned, the experiences gained, the insight discovered - makes a better version of yourself.
